This phase will include staff and community input via the interview process or participation in a public forum. While the application period for participation on the interview team has closed, please be a part of the public forum! Check the webpage for details!

| Open Enrollment for 2012/13 |
| The Open Enrollment application period for the 2012/13 school year begins on Monday, February 6 and runs through Friday, April 30, 2012. Applications are submitted online or directly to the nonresident school district, and no late or early applications can be accepted for any reason. Students may apply to a total of three nonresident school districts.

| Energy Management Update |
| The energy savings continue! Between June and November 2011, electric use at the high school decreased by 16%, 15% at the middle school and 24% at the elementary, resulting in a total energy savings of $11,674! | March 2011 School Perceptions Survey Results |
| To assist in understanding the issues surrounding the lack of support for the referendum, a survey was created in collaboration with the students from the INGMT-750 Organizational Development Course and Dr. Kersten, University Of Wisconsin, Stout. This survey consisted of both qualitative and quantitative measures to gain the best insight into the views of the public. The audience selected for this survey was the parents and staff of the Altoona School District. |

The Altoona Athletic Boosters is the only organization that produces a "sports calendar" or poster to promote our athletic events. If your business has been contacted to buy advertising by any company or organization other than the Altoona Athletic Boosters, you may have been "scammed." These companies operate under names like Athletic Boosters Inc. or Sport Media. In August, Sports Media fraudulently "sold an ad" in the amount of $139 to a local business - supposedly for an 2010/11 Winter Sports Poster for Altoona High School.

| The School Performance Report, created in 1991 serves as a district's annual public school report as required by 115.38 WI Statutes. The report addresses topics such as: Achievement (test results grades 3, 4, 8 and 10), ACT, AP® Exam, Retention, Attendance, Dropouts, Truancy, High School Completion, Post-graduation Plans, Program Offerings and Participation, Staffing, Finance, Suspensions and Expulsions.
