New Honors and 340 Rule Regulations
We will be enforcing our student parking regulations a bit differently this year. ALL students wanting to park in the student lot will be required to purchase a parking permit from the high school office. The cost of the permit is $20.00. Any vehicle found in the lot without the proper permit or violating the parking/traffic guidelines will be issued a ticket for $20.00 to be paid to the school district. The Altoona School District Parking and Traffic Rules are available in the online Student Handbook or from the High School office.
To obtain a work permit, the minor or the minor and a parent must visit the permit officer, taking with them the minor's birth certificate or other proof of age, social security card, hiring statement from the employer explaining job duties and hours of work, written parental consent and a $10.00 fee. As of August 14, work permits are issued at the high school office, 711 7th St W.
