Enlisted for 10 years as a mechanic for light and heavy wheeled vehicles, generators, and track vehicles. After graduating from Officer Candidate School, became an officer in 1993. Deployed from 2005 to 2009 to Ft. Snelling, Kuwait, and Iraq. Have attained the rank of lieutenant colonel and work as an operations officer for an area support group at Ft. Snelling, MN. I appreciate my reserve family and the opportunities that the Army has given me. I am deeply grateful to those who continue to sacrifice for the freedom of others.
Served in the period known as The Cold War; witnessed the tearing down of the Berlin Wall.
