Course Request and Scheduling Timeline

Review the 2026–27 Academic & Career Planning Guide.
Update your four-year plan using pages 20–21 in the Academic and Career Planning Guide.
Registration materials are sent out.
Students will attend the course registration workshop hosted by the Counseling Department.
Begin entering your course requests in Skyward. Use these instructions to add your courses after you have planned them on your registration sheet.
Enter course requests in Skyward Family Access.
Return the printed, signed course request form to the Counseling Office by Dec. 19th.
Note:
If the signed form is not returned, one will be completed for the student.
If online requests are entered without a signed form, counselors will not approve registration until the parent signature is submitted.
Students receive assigned dates/times to meet with their counselor.
Schedule changes may be requested based on the Can I Change My Schedule? guide.
Students must complete a Schedule Change Request Form if seeking changes once school begins.
Schedule Change Request Forms are due before the start of Day 3 of the trimester.
No schedule changes will be processed after this deadline.
Dec 11: 8th Grade Presentation (via Ms. Burich Holle)
Dec 15: Course Request Review for grades 9–11 (afternoon)
Dec 16–19: Students/families review options & submit online requests
Dec 19: Signed course request form due

Xello for K-12 is a web-based self-exploration and planning program that includes skill and career assessments, 4-year planning tools, post-secondary school and job market information, exploration activities, an employment guide, and more. The My Plan digital portfolio allows students to document each stage of their career exploration process, think critically about their options, and build an individualized future readiness plan.
