Child Care Partnership is Chippewa Valley’s local Child Care Resource & Referral agency. CCP works with families, child care programs and the community to develop highly competent children through quality child care programming. Staff works with families to generate a free, customized list of regulated child care programs that meet their needs. CCP does not endorse or recommend any particular child care program but works with families to encourage them to visit each site and ask questions about each program before making any final decisions. Staff is available to help with any questions or concerns at (715) 831-1770 or 800-782-1880 or by email at ccp@wdeoc.org.

CCP partners with Wisconsin’s Department of Children and Families to support regulated child care in Wisconsin, click the link for more information about regulated child care: https://dcf.wisconsin.gov/ccregulation/choosing

Wisconsin Shares

The Wisconsin Shares Child Care Subsidy Program assists families with a portion of child care costs while parents are working or participating in activities that will lead to work and economic self-sufficiency. Parents are required to pay the difference between what the child care provider charges for care and what Wisconsin Shares covers. This is considered the “Parent Share.” Information about eligibility guidelines for the Wisconsin Shares program can be found here: https://dcf.wisconsin.gov/files/publications/pdf/5186.pdf

To apply for Wisconsin Shares, residents of Eau Claire, Chippewa, Barron, Burnett, Douglas, Dunn, Pierce, Polk, St Croix & Washburn can contact the Great Rivers Call Center at 1-888-283-0012 (MTRF 8:00 am – 4:00 pm and Wed 8:00 am – 11:00 am) or apply online at www.access.wi.gov.
