Altoona High School Alumni Association
Altoona, Wisconsin

In September 1955, three loyal friends of the Altoona High School, gathered at a dinner meeting to create an Alumni Association.

At this meeting, it was deemed fitting and proper to bring the alumni of Altoona High School into closer fellowship and understanding and to foster greater loyalty and regard for their alma mater, Altoona High School.

Update Regarding 2021 All Class Reunion!

The formal Altoona High School, Altoona WI, All Class Reunion 2021, scheduled for July 24 will not be held due to COVID uncertainty. The Board of Directors for the Altoona Alumni Association made this decision because of mixed messages as to social distancing, vaccines, and wearing of masks in the future. The decision was not easy for us to make as we missed last year, but we would rather be on the side of safety.

Even though the formal reunion is cancelled for Saturday, July 24, 2021, we are going to keep our reservation for the River Prairie pavilion by the pond/river. We rented the pavilion on Friday, July 23, 2021, for any classes that want to hold an informal reunion  from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and the only request we have is to follow park rules. There is no cost for the classes who want to use it.

At this point in time, we do not know what is planned for a future reunion, and that decision will be based on what happens with COVID. We are strongly thinking about 2022, but if necessary, we may have to hold off until 2025. We will do everything possible to let everyone know early in 2022 about a possible reunion next year.
