As the weather gets warmer, there are more questions about how to use parks safely. You can go to the park by yourself or with people you live with—just remember to not meet up with friends, stay 6 feet away from other people, and don’t use playgrounds or sports courts.

Free Food Options

We are providing free grab-and-go meals, a lunch for the current day and a breakfast for the next day, Monday through Friday, on regularly scheduled school days at the Altoona High School (711 7th Street W), 11:30 am to 1:00 pm as follows:

  • March 18-20
  • March 30 until further notice (M-F)

This is available for all students.

Our student food pantry, located at 809 7th Street W (south of the high school) will be open as follows:

  • Wednesday evenings, 5-7 pm
  • Thursday afternoons, 11:30-1:30 pm
