School District of Altoona Staff Complete a Sleep in Heavenly Peace Service Project
On March 9, 2024, staff members at the School District of Altoona will be holding a bed build in partnership with Sleep in Heavenly Peace. The staff will build 20 beds that will go to children in the Chippewa Valley.
“This is a meaningful way for us to serve the children in our community,” said Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Heidi Eliopoulos. “It is heart-warming to see so many of our staff come together on a Saturday morning in service of children.”
The bed build was sponsored by Mayo Clinic.
