Indemnity Agreement
School Bus Use - School District of Altoona
This Agreement made this day of __________________________, 19_____by
and between the School District of Altoona, hereinafter called the "School" and
__________________________________, hereinafter called the Permitted User.
Whereas the Permitted User wishes use of a school bus and the School is willing to permit the limited use by the Permitted User, the parties agree as follows:
- The Permitted User assumes all risk of loss, damage or injury, by fire or otherwise, to person or property, by reason of the condition or operation of the leased premises, or by reason of the management, control or operation thereof, and releases the School, its successors and assigns, from all claim for such loss, damage or injury sustained by the Permitted User, or by any agent or employee of the Permitted User, or by any person whosoever, whether caused by the negligence of the School, its agents or employees, or otherwise; and the Permitted User agrees to indemnify the School, its agents or employees, its successors and assigns, against all claims for such loss, damage or injury sustained by the Permitted User, or by any agent or employee of the Permitted User, or any members of such Permitted User, or by any person whosoever, whether the same be caused by the negligence of the School or of its officers, agents, employees, or otherwise.
- Read and abide by school district policy EEADA and the rules stated in EEADA-R.
