A: Students will not have access to microwave ovens.

Q: Has the health department approved indoor gatherings of more than 100 people? How can you have the full-staff meetings?
A:The current health order prohibits public gatherings of more than 100 indoors or 250 outdoors. The health department provided guidance that a meeting at a place of employment is not a public gathering. The reason this type of meeting does not have gathering limits is because of the reasonable expectation staff will follow health and safety directives in place for the meeting, versus a public gathering where those parameters would be more difficult to ensure. We have discussed the option of a full staff meeting with the county and they assisted us in developing and implementing health and safety protocols.
