Welcome to Altoona Middle School! My name is Steven Buss and I am privileged to be the Principal here at AMS. The middle school years are all about exploring who our students are as learners and as individuals. Without a doubt, these can be some of the most challenging and rewarding times of their lives.
Our staff care about the lives of our students, both in and outside of the classroom. Whether it’s your child’s first year or last year at AMS, they will be amazed by the opportunities we provide, allowing them to grow as learners and citizens.
