Altoona Intermediate School is one of eight schools in Wisconsin, and one of 367 schools nationally selected as a 2020 National Blue Ribbon School! The U.S. Education Department recognizes the award-winning schools in one of two performance categories, based on all student scores, student subgroup scores and graduation rates: Exemplary High Performing Schools, and Exemplary Achievement Gap Closing Schools, the category of the AIS award.
